Dr Catherine Turberville and Dr. Andi Long are full-time veterinarians at Saraland Veterinary Clinic. In addition to our wonderful doctors, we have 10 dedicated support staff employees. We are fortunate to have employees that have been with our office for many years. You will find that our doctors and staff are kind, dedicated, and knowledgeable individuals that love pets and people.
Dr. Catherine grew up helping her father, Dr. Ben George, every chance she could get. She never wanted to pursue any career other than to follow in her father's footsteps as a veterinarian. She graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and returned home to work with him here at both the Saraland Veterinary Clinic and our sister clinic, the Heart of Dixie Vet Clinic in Semmes. She is the proud mother of four beautiful children, three silly dogs, one pretty cool cat, and a few assorted chickens. She is very proud of the veterinary practice that her father built up and is working hard to continue the excellent compassionate care of family pets since our doors opened in 1984.
You may recognize Dr. Andi from her days working at Saraland Veterinary Clinic as an assistant. After graduating from Satsuma High School, she received her undergraduate degree at William Carey University, and graduated from Tuskegee University in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Andi is compassionate about providing excellent care to all her patients.
Tara is the Practice Manager of both Saraland Veterinary Clinic and our sister clinic, Heart of Dixie Veterinary Clinic. She lives with her husband, two bulldogs, and Mr Gobble the Majestic Cat. Tara's love for people and pets is one of the main reasons she loves being our Practice Manager.
